TYPE OF PROJECT: Condo Hotel
LOCATION: Tulum, Quintana Roo, México
AREA: 2.120 m2
INTERVENTION: Arquitectura, Interiorismo y Paisajismo
Located in the jungle of Tulum near the coastal strip, this project was developed surrounded by an exuberant environment of natural beauty. The design is achieved through the study of local culture and experiences in order to capture the essence of this magical place.
The result is translated into three volumes of straight and refined lines, of great visual weight, reminiscent of Mayan architectural forms. This space is conceived as a large lobby at all levels of the building, each crossed by a central clearing. There are different typologies that come together through an area that acts as a central core accommodating the circulation, lobbies of each unit, elevator, stairs and the main lobby, which is accessed through an entrance of monumental height.
